Zinadine Yazid Zidane,was born 23 June 1972 in Marseille. He's one of the living legend in French football history. Zidane has play for several clubs in various country such France, Italy and Spain. His most notable achievement is when he helped French national team to win the FIFA World Cup in 1998 defeating former champion Brazil in their home soil.

He has won several awards that puts his name equals to Pele and the others worlds football legends. He quits from the professional football after helping the French national team to reach the final of 2006 FIFA World Cup.

His career as a professional footballer began in 1988 with AS Cannes. In summer 1992, he was transfered to Bordeaux and play there for 4 consecutive years until 1996. He help Bordeaux to enter the final of 1995-96 UEFA Cup and finish as a runner-up. In 1996, he was transferred to Juventus and play there until the year 2001. Real Madrid express the value of talent in Zidane for the fee 78M as they manage to have his signature to stay at Real Madrid in 4 years contract. Consider as the most expensive player at the time, he netted Real Madrid winning goal in UEFA Champions League final match against Bayern Leverkusen in 2002.

Zidane named as World Footballer of the Year 3 times in his career. With his contribution in French national team and Real Madrid, football fans all around Europe adore him as a diamond in modern football.
